I have updated the appointment host in CasePacer, but the changes are not reflected in Outlook. What should I do?

We have received inquiries from clients about an issue where changing the host for an event in CasePacer does not reflect in Outlook. This is due to Microsoft limitations.

Microsoft currently do not support changes to the Host in calendar events. Consequently, when the Host is updated in CasePacer, this change cannot be synchronized with Outlook but there is a workaround!

If you need to change the Host for an event in CasePacer, we recommend deleting the original appointment and creating a new one with the updated Host details.

 

1. Look for the event for which you wat to update the Host.

2. Open the event, then select Delete . This action will also remove the corresponding appointment from Outlook.

3. Set up a new event with the updated Host.
