CasePacer User Dashboard

This article explains how to use the new CasePacer Dashboard, including how to navigate the interface, manage alerts, and access commonly used tools such as your calendar, messages, and client uploads.

Overview


The new dashboard provides a streamlined, central location for managing your CasePacer activities. It includes familiar utilities from the previous dashboard with improved performance, navigation, and visual design.

You can use the dashboard to:

  • View and filter your calendar events
  • Monitor alerts and notifications
  • Track new case and task assignments
  • Access client files and messages sent via CP Direct

Accessing the Dashboard

  1. Log in to your CasePacer account.
  2. From the main navigation bar, select Dashboard using the CP logo (top left).
  3. The dashboard will open to display your calendar, unread alerts, case updates, and other analytics.

Alerts

  • The Unread Alerts section lists important updates such as new cases, client messages, or file uploads.

  • You can choose to keep alerts visible indefinitely or select Mark all as read to clear them.

  • Alerts update in real time, ensuring you don’t miss new activity.

 

Analytics: Cases & Tasks (Ticklers)

  • The Cases tile displays all open cases where you are assigned to a role.

  • You’ll also see a filter that highlights any new cases added to your list today.

  • Clicking any of these options takes you directly to a filtered index view of the selected cases

  • The Tasks tiles lists all currently open tasks assigned to you.

  • You can quickly identify:

    • Tasks that were added today.

    • Tasks that are overdue or still open.

 

Note: In CasePacer, tasks and ticklers are synonymous as the platform migrates to its new workflow system.

Weekly Achievements

The Weekly Achievements section introduces a light form of gamification, highlighting your completed actions and overall progress for the week. This encourages engagement and helps you visualize productivity trends across cases and tasks.

CP Direct Messages

CP Direct is the secure client portal that allows your clients to communicate directly with your firm. When a client sends a message through CP Direct, it automatically appears on your CasePacer Dashboard as an unread alert.

This feature helps ensure no client inquiry goes unnoticed and provides a quick way to respond or review previous communication threads within the related case.

  1. Click the message in the dashboard list to open the corresponding case.
  2. Within the case, you can:
    • Reply directly to the client through the integrated communication panel.

    • View replies or notes from your team members before responding.

Tracking & Progress

The Tracking & Progress section provides a snapshot of your workload by displaying all upcoming and overdue tasks. This area helps you quickly identify what needs attention today and in the coming week, without leaving your dashboard.

From this view, you can:

  • Filter tasks by due date

  • Identify overdue items

  • Jump directly to any specific task

  • Maintain visibility across all cases you’re assigned to
