Overview

Our first release of 2026 marks the beginning of a series of updates introducing CasePacer’s new Modern Design Language. This initial rollout refreshes the look and feel of select pages to give you an early preview of the new design—without disrupting the workflows and muscle memory you rely on to get work done efficiently.

Behind the scenes, this release also includes a major technology upgrade. We’ve modernized our underlying architecture to improve performance, scalability, and flexibility, allowing us to deliver new features and enhancements faster in future releases.

 


New Login Experience


A redesigned login screen introduces a refreshed, modern look while keeping the login process simple and familiar.

Updated Dashboard


  • The dashboard now displays the same core information in a more actionable and user-friendly layout. 

  • Each tile supports infinite scrolling.

Enhanced Navigation


  • The main navigation retains all familiar options with a cleaner, more modern layout.

  • Navigation remains consistent throughout the platform for a seamless experience.

  • The timekeeper option has moved from a left-side floating action button to the top navigation bar.

  • The case search bar remains fixed at the top of the screen for quick access from anywhere.

    • New case status badges clearly identify whether a case is Potential, Active, or Closed.
    • Fuzzy search continues to work as before, allowing searches by exact terms or approximate matches for case and plaintiff names.

Improved Notifications & Messaging


  • Notifications and messages now open in a side panel instead of a pop-up.

  • The side panel supports infinite scrolling, ensuring fast loading regardless of message volume.

  • Notifications remain easily accessible from the top-right corner of the application.

Upgraded Switch User Experience


  • Users with multiple CasePacer accounts can now switch between accounts more easily.

  • Enhancements include:

    • User avatars

    • Clearer account identification

CP Vantage Menu


  • Same familiar structure, enhanced with clearer organization and improved descriptions.

  • Sub-navigation panel for quickly jumping between report categories without scrolling.
  • Expanded report descriptions visible directly on the index page.
  • Tile-based report layout showing the report name, description, favorite option, and the ability to open reports in a new tab.

Upgraded DocuSign Interface


  • Enhanced interface to provide a cleaner, more intuitive sending experience while maintaining the functionality you rely on.

Admin & Settings Enhancements


  • Office Admins will see updated layouts across key settings pages.

  • CP Direct settings maintain the same features with a simpler and more efficient execution flow.

Firm Billing Improvements


  • Billing pages now reflect the new look and feel of the platform.

  • Enhancements include:

    • Improved invoice visibility

    • Enhanced auto-pay options

    • A clearer billing experience overall

Infrastructure & Performance Upgrades


  • CasePacer continues to operate on AWS, with upgraded server capacity.

  • The platform has migrated from MySQL to PostgreSQL, enabling better scalability as usage grows.

  • Users will benefit from:

    • Faster search results

    • Improved indexing

    • Smoother overall performance driven by backend optimizations
